Dip Recipes


 

Auntie Ruth's Dill Dip

1 cup Mayonnaise 

Mix together and chill.

1 cup Sour Cream
2 TBS Dill Weed
2 TBS Parsley Flakes
1 TBS Onion, minced
2 tsp Seasoned Salt

This is the dip served on our veggie trays.

 

Mascarpone Maple Fruit Dip

8 oz Wisconsin Mascarpone 

 Blend Mascarpone and Cream Cheese together until smooth. Stir in Maple Syrup.  Add vanilla if desired. Makes 2 Cups.

8 oz Wisconsin Cream Cheese, softened
3 TBS Wisconsin Pure Maple Syrup
1 tsp Vanilla extract (optional) 

Serve cold as a dip with sliced apples, pears, or berries.

 

Hot Wisconsin Cheese Dip

3 Tbs Olive Oil

In saucepan, brown onion in olive oil, add green pepper, garlic, thyme, bay leaf, salt, Tabasco, and tomato juice. Heat slowly over medium heat then add cheddar cheese, stirring until melted.

1 Cup Onion, chopped
1 Cup Green Pepper, chopped
1 Clove Garlic, minced
2 Cups Tomato Juice
1/8 tsp Thyme
 1/2 Bay Leaf
 1/4 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Tabasco

 1 1/4# Grated Wisconsin Cheddar Cheese

Serve hot with chips, pretzels, or veggies.

 

Creamy Bleu Cheese Dressing/Dip

1 Cup Wisconsin Sour Cream

Blend all ingredients together, chill in the refrigerator for an hour.

1/2 Cup crumbled Wisconsin Bleu Cheese
1/2 tsp Salt
1/8 tsp Black Pepper
1 TBS Onion-finely chopped (optional)
Few drops Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Lemon Juice

Goes really well on lettuce salads.

 

Wisconsin Gorgonzola Dip

8 oz Wisconsin Cream Cheese, softened

Place cream cheese, Gorgonzola, green onions and mint in a food processor. Process until blended but not quite smooth.

1/2 Cup Wisconsin Gorgonzola Cheese, crumbled
2 Green Onions, sliced
2 TBS Fresh Mint, chopped

Serve with crackers.
